Today is a great day to take out the time to say Thank You for those in our lives that made that difference that sculpted our lives. You know what I mean? It may have been a teacher, a mother, father, best friend, co-worker, cat or even a dog. Sometimes in life we can focus so much on all the people who were not there for us that we miss the ones that shaped our lives. Well, you would not believe who this person was in my life. It was because of this person that my dreams stayed alive when they felt like just dreams. Hey Sim, I loved the video. I just about got emotional from that short clip of Denzel and his teacher. And your story was inspiring as well. I also had a most memorable teacher, actually more than one, but I’d like to thank Mr. Benjamin Drone. Mr. Drone really poured himself into making English fun. He got us to expand our minds by learning new vocabulary and reading literature that was beyond the school board requirements. As a matter of fact his broadcasting class is where I first learned anything about shooting video, editing, and even producing a radio show. After school he also led the school’s gospel choir that I participated in, so this man had a major impact in a lot of things I learned. More than anything though he was a great role model and everyone knew he really cared about his students. I am grateful to have had him as a teacher.
